Lisa Kelly, PT

Lisa KellyLisa began her career over 25 years ago as a NATA Certified Athletic Trainer, with degrees in Clinical Dietetics and Nutrition. In 1993, Lisa became a licensed Physical Therapist.

Combining her interests in working with athletes with her passion for skiing and travel, Lisa was the Physical Therapist for the Men’s U.S. Ski Team. She travelled with the team on the World Cup circuit from 1993-1995, including the 1994 Olympic Games in Lillehammer, Norway.

After working in Vermont and Colorado, Lisa worked part time with the Canadian Alpine Ski Team in 1998. She went on to become a certified STOTT Pilates Instructor in 2005. She has taught Pilates while living overseas in Europe and Asia, as well as in Connecticut before moving back to Colorado in 2011.

Since 2007, Lisa has obtained advanced training in ‘Postural Restoration’, a proven neuromuscular retraining method developed by Ron Hruska, PT, and the Postural Restoration Institute. She will be sitting for her certification exam in December.

Since an early age, Lisa has had an affinity for movement and athleticism. Both have played an integral part of her life. She was an accomplished open water marathon swimmer, recreational triathlete, and a participant in numerous endurance/fund raising events. She continues to enjoy the outdoors with her family.

Lisa enthusiastically seeks to learn, as well as share her knowledge and skills with others. She is committed to providing professional care with a personal touch, giving thoughtful attention to each individual’s needs.
